In celebration, all are invited to WACA’s grand finale, the first Research Symposium on Women, on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, in Carnegie Hall, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Please join us for an empowering afternoon of Poster/Media presentations celebrating “Women of Color as Change Agents: Historical and Contemporary Perspectives.” It was Mary McLeod Bethune who said, “The worth of a race is determined by its women.” The WACA Symposium on Women will give meaning to those words.
