  1. Hi I was reading the website and the information here is wonderful. I would love to join this group. Is there a way that I could join or is it too late. This would be a wonderful group to participate in

    • It is not too late to join. As a matter of fact, every woman on Howard’s campus (student, faculty, staff, alumni, and even prospective students) are automatically members of Women As Change Agents. We will add you to our email list so that you can stay up to date with our events and activities!

    • I was overjoyed to learn about this organziation. As a alumni of Howard University, I would love to learn more about the organization and support the mission. Please sign me up to receive emails and other communications. Thank you!

  2. As a new member of WACA and a women change agent my suggestion is that: 1) We already have ready networking resources in the following venues: Women as Change Agents (WACA) email database, networking groups, HU sorority groups with a regional and national Database, church groups database, HU state clubs, email databases (student, faculty, staff), women’s groups (Groups that have visited or attended conferences, forums and other events at Howard U. (Sign-in sheets with email/telephone, etc.).

    2) Local, regional, national women’s groups databases (forge a sisterhood/
    partnership with them)
    3) Assign WACA Membership Development committee with the task of going online and eventually creating and/or establshing sister WACA branches on the major HBCU campuses and other college and university campuses
    4) Hold webinars 2-3 times per month, so that in real-time all WACA members can attend WACA Tea and other events. The issues to be discuss being contributed to by all sister WACA branches.
